Great case

has everything the 900 does and much more but with less $$$. roomier than 900, better cabling and liquid cooling friendly! For those curious as I was the case holds 8 HDD's in its 2 cages and still has 3 drive bays open for blu-ray/dvd...etc. The 2 front fans cool HDD's. The other 4 fans do a nice job of air cooling everything else. the lighting are just right, antec's are too bright like they're trying to blind me. The case itself is very sleek looking and has enough room for the largest of graphics cards and whatever other hardware. All fans are replaceable and all grills are cleanable. All in all the best case for the money, makes me wonder why others willing to spend more money on just "brand" whatever...
Great case

Great case. Plenty of room. Advertised as a midtower. I'd say it's someplace in between an mid and full tower. With 6 fans it definitely runs cool and they run relatively quiet. If you want to monitor all of the fan speeds be sure your motherboard has enough fan headers.

The two front mounted USB ports are pretty close together making it difficult to use them both at the same time for all but the slimmest USB connectors.

I'd wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
A product well worth the price

At first I was skeptical about purchasing a case that wasn't made by a more popular vendor, but the design and functionality of this case made it ideal for the kind of work I do, and the look is just plain cool. After assembling the case and switching it on, the first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. With all of those fans on, the heat my machine let off filled the room, but my hardware monitors all show low-to-moderate component temps inside. I highly recommend this case for anyone serious about gaming and heavy graphics work, but are on a mid level budget.
Incredible simply incredible.

I have been using Ultra towers for just about every build and even though they're a little cheaper this tower is incredible in every way! I upgraded my personal machine for the third time and in the Ultra tower it was getting too hot so I did some research and found the Tempest from NZXT and have been using it for over a month now and it's been on almost the entire time without fail. I have put my fans(swapped exhaust 120mm, PCI exhaust fan, PCI twin cooler fans) in the tower to help with air flow, but I'm not sure I needed them due to all the cooling provided by the included six fans. The cooling is incredible on this tower and even though it is a large tower it's built very well so I can use it over and over again without worrying about it breaking or falling apart. The noise level is minimal due to the quiet fans they used and the Blue LED's are amazing and for those that don't want a brightly lit tower this is not for you as it is like a little Blue beacon in the dark. The whole tower was well thought out as drives of any kind are easily removed or replaced and the tower can hold a total of eight HDD and three disc drives so there's plenty of room. The only issue I had was the clear window fan didn't work right out of the box so I emailed customer support and included my electronic receipt to speed things along and in 4 days I had a brand new fan without question so props to the customer service as well. Overall if you want a case that will cool any build you can come up with and offers what seems like endless expandability including water cooling then this is the tower for you. A+ across the board!
Very nice mid-tower case.

The NZXT Tempest takes everything that is great about the Antec 900 and improves upon it by adding 8 vertical hard drive bays.

Pros:
Power supply placement at the bottom of the case so fans on top can vent hot air upwards, fan intakes to cool all 8 hard drive bays, and a very solid overall build quality make this one of the best mid-tower cases available.

Cons:
Packaging is skimpy on protection, be sure to check for damage and the case is slightly larger than most mid-tower cases, but forgivable because of the amount of hard drive bays
